Teacher's Resource Guide
Each grade-level Teacher's Resource Guide features over 200 pages of teacher-friendly, developmentally sequenced lesson plans and reproducible student activity sheets to introduce students to each measurement concept through engaging, hands-on experiences.
These consumable Student Books provide an ongoing record of students' measurement experiences throughout the year and save the time and cost of photocopying each student activity in the Teacher's Resource Guide. (Available separately in sets of 12.)
Each grade-level Toolbox stores enough carefully selected measurement tools
for a class of 24 students working cooperatively. Standard measuring devices
such as the Precision School Balance, Inchworms and Centibugs Rulers, VersaTimer,
GeoToolŪ Compass, and many more are used to investigate various measurement
concepts.
Games
Reinforce each measurement topic with the colorful, double-sided gameboard! Each game- MeasureWorks Theme Park and MeasureWorks Village-reviews the key skills, tools, and vocabulary used within each MeasureWorks unit. Each grade-level-specific set includes 120 game cards with more than 500 measurement trivia questions and 12 playing pieces.
