The Daily Tantalizers Math program contains 180 critical-thinking activities at each grade level, 1-8, which:
- Challenging practice problems improve students’ understanding of—
- Number
- Patterns
- Computation
- Representation
- Spatial Reasoning
- Brief, 5–10 minute critical-thinking activities in short-response and multiple-choice formats develop mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, open response, and logic skills.
- Teacher’s Comments explain the math involved and provide alternate approaches to answers.
- Writing prompts, extension activities and oral questions offer additional opportunities to apply critical thinking to mathematical situations and problems.
