Use Factor Blocks to implement a hands-on approach to teaching LCM, GCF, prime numbers, fractions, ratios, area, and volume to students in grades 4–8.
A basic set of 33 Factor Blocks includes blocks in 15 different sizes. Every dimension of each Factor Block is either 1 or a prime number. Each face of every block is a factor of the number associated with the block. Through investigations with Factor Blocks, students gain an understanding of otherwise abstract ideas.
Individual zippered pouch containing 15 different sizes of Factor Blocks (33 in all)—enough to equip two students working together—or use it to extend other Factor Blocks Sets.
