Components
Each grade-level AlgebraWorks kit includes a comprehensive Teacher's Resource
Guide with reproducible student activity sheets (consumable Student Activity
Books are available separately), and a convenient storage toolbox filled
with all the algebra tools the class will need.
Teacher's Resource Guide
Each grade-level-specific Teacher's Resource Guide features over 30 teacher-friendly, sequential lesson plans and reproducible student activity sheets to introduce algebraic concepts.
Assessment
Multiple-choice questions at the end of each section help teachers to assess students' level of algebraic understanding. An Item Analysis allows teachers to target specific student misconceptions to maximize teaching time and individualize instruction.
Student Activity Books
Consumable Student Activity Books provide an ongoing record of each student's algebra experiences throughout the year and save the time of photocopying each student activity from the Teacher's Resource Guide. (Student Books are available separately in sets of 12.)
Algebra Tools
Each grade-level toolbox contains plenty of algebra manipulatives for a class of 24 students working cooperatively. Each grade level uses a wide variety of common manipulatives to provide students with the most diverse set of algebraic experiences possible.
Kits for grades 5 and 6 feature a NEW Graphing Pegboard, available exclusively from ETA/Cuisenaire®, with moveable axes and uniquely shaped pegs that allow students to make a physical connection to graphing. (See grade-level descriptions and a complete list of manipulatives in each kit.)
