Sept. 28, 2009, Vernon Hills, IL—Educational publisher ETA/Cuisenaire® today announced the company's exclusive partnership with the Texas Education Service Center Curriculum Collaborative's CSCOPE™ initiative. Under this new partnership, ETA/Cuisenaire becomes the preferred supplier of hands-on materials kits and supplemental products that align with the K-12 CSCOPE curriculum. ETA/Cuisenaire is the only provider of pre-packaged materials that are specific to the CSCOPE curriculum lessons.
CSCOPE is a comprehensive, customized curriculum management system developed by the Texas Education Service Center Curriculum Collaborative (TESCCC) to provide curricular components that meet the highest educational standards, as well as lessons that are aligned with the TEKS/TAKS standards in the following content areas: Social Studies, Math, Science, English/Language Arts (ELA), and Spanish Language Arts (SLA). The curriculum is utilized by over 600 public and private school districts/systems throughout the state of Texas, representing over 1 million students. Only vendors with a broad spectrum of educational products and the capacity to provide relevant, hands-on, standards-based materials were considered by TESCCC for this exclusive collaboration. The exclusive partnership gives ETA/Cuisenaire rights to use the CSCOPE logo for all licensed products that support the CSCOPE curriculum.
